Itinerary for our Aberdeen to Edinburgh Private Tour/Transfer:
Day 1:
We pick you up from your preferred location and take a short drive south to Stonehaven. From its charming harbour we walk along the coast to the famous Dunnottar Castle – one of the most unforgettable places in Scotland.
For the rest of the day we head inland to the Royal Deeside. Depending on what you fancy we can meet with the royals in Balmoral, learn about Highland Games in Braemar or take a tour at the Royal Lochnagar Distillery. Afternoon scenic drive through Glen Shee – the Glen of the Fairies – brings us to Pitlochry with its many pubs, restaurants and natural beauty spots.
Day 2:
Morning in Perthshire passes among beautiful woods of The Hermitage and cosy cobbled streets of historic Dunkeld. Next we make our way to the coast to explore one of the most significant Scottish towns – St Andrews. There we’ll take a look at the Old Course – the birthplace of golf – and walk through the campus of the oldest university in Scotland to the medieval part of town. You’ll be able to visit the old castle, but it’s the cathedral that brought St Andrews its religious and cultural importance.
We make our way south along the Fife Coast – with an optional stop at the Kingsbarns Distillery – to our last stop in South Queensferry. There we’ll have a look at the majestic Forth Bridge – the latest Scottish addition to the UNESCO World Heritage list – before we drop you off in Edinburgh at your preferred spot.
This tour can take you south to the capital or bring you north-east from Edinburgh to Aberdeen. If you’re interested in the second option simply drop us a line and we can provide you with a detailed itinerary.
