EDINBURGH TO INVERNESS TOUR/TRANSFER
Our Edinburgh to Inverness Private Tour/Transfer gives you a chance to travel from the Scottish capital to the heart of the Highlands without the need of driving or taking the train. Instead of merely making your way up north (or down south, if that’s what you’re looking for), you’ll be able to enjoy two days packed with historic attractions and breathtaking scenery.

- Visit the royal Stirling Castle and historic Old Town
- Discover clan legends and Scottish history with your private guide
- Taste the Scottish national drink on a distillery tour
- Enjoy one of Scotland’s most charming beaches in Nairn
Itinerary for our Edinburgh to Inverness Private Tour/Transfer:
Day 1:
We pick you up from your preferred location in Edinburgh and head north to Stirling. Here you’ll get a chance to visit the ancient castle of the Scottish Stuart dynasty and explore the Old Town with your private guide.
After lunch, the path of clan legends will take us for a light hike and stories at Rob Roy’s grave in Balquhidder, as well as to the charming Falls of Dochart. Alternatively, we can drive north through Perthshire and take a stroll in Drummond Castle Gardens (film set for the Outlander TV series), explore historic Dunkeld and enjoy the outdoors in The Hermitage. There are also several options for whisky distillery tours along the way (Deanston, Edradour or Blair Athol) and we can easily accommodate them in your itinerary.
No matter which route you choose, we’ll finish the day in cosy Pitlochry with its many pubs, restaurants and natural beauty spots.
Day 2:
We begin the day with a tour of Blair Castle. After exploring the ancient seat of Dukes of Atholl and its grounds, we begin our journey north through the Cairngorms National Park and stop for a hearty lunch and lochside walk at Rothiemurchus Estate.
In the afternoon we still have plenty of time for a peak at the picturesque crossing in Carrbridge and a beach walk in Nairn, before we drop you off in Inverness at your preferred spot.
This tour can take you up to Inverness or bring you down south from the Highlands to Edinburgh. If you’re interested in the second option simply drop us a line and we can provide you with a detailed itinerary.
