Itinerary:
Day 1:
We take a look at Stirling and Doune castles on the way north, where hairy cows and stories of battling clans let us feel we are truly in the Highlands. The road northwest leads through iconic Glen Coe and up to Glenfinnan, famous for its viaduct and monument. We make our way inland in the afternoon to reach the banks of Loch Ness.
Day 2:
A drive along Loch Ness allows us to tour Urquhart Castle and Highland capital Inverness further up north. We then head to Culloden Battlefield to relive the last Jacobite rebellion and discover how it changed Scotland forever. In the afternoon we make our way south to the heart of Cairngorms National Park.
Day 3:
We explore Speyside with an option of visiting one of the world-famous distilleries. Next stop is Braemar, famous for its Highland Games and links to the Royal Family. We then take one of Scotland’s most scenic routes through Glen Shee into Perthshire to reach the world-famous Forth Bridge before we say our goodbyes.
